A full bodied wine with intense aroma of raspberry and blackberry, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, black pepper and  honey. Very smooth on the palate with  generous black fruit, blueberry, cherry, plums, tobacco and tannin. Finishes with a lingering raspberry note. Aged for 20 months in French and American oak barrels.

CloudBurst opens with aromas of berries, mocha, toffee, milk chocolate, chili, cumin, a hint of orange, cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate a smooth entry yields to a rich blend of cherries, blueberries, blackberries and cinnamon. Aged for 20 months in 75 % French and 25% American oak barrels.

2007 Irise

Columbia Valley White Wine

55%  Rosebud Ranch Vineyards Semillon

45%  Uplands Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc

 

 

This is a rich wine with aromas of honey, melon, lemon cream and figs. On the palate hints of pears and ginger, bread dough, vanilla, citrus and a hint of bitter lime. Slightly off dry, this wine is best when chilled and opened one hour before serving.

 

The semillon juice for 2006 Irise was cold settled and transfered to new Damy French Oak barrels for fermentation. The sauvignon blanc was cold settled and fermented in new Billon French oak barrels before finishing in stainless steel tank. The wines were blended one month prior to bottling.

15% Lewis Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon

Rich red to purple in color with aromas of blueberry, black cherry, vanilla, spices and dried herbs. Intense blueberries, dark cherry, vanilla, toffee and caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg and anise on the palate. Aged for 18 months in new and used French and American oak barrels.
